The Windsor District Church of God is having their annual convention from October 4-6. This is a momentous year, as we are celebrating the 90th anniversary of Open Arms Community Church (previously known as Walker Road Church of God). The following is the order of events: Friday, October 4th at 7:30 pm Night of Prayer and Worship: An opportunity to gather in praise to God and to pray. Location: Windsor Gospel Assembly (1695 University Avenue, Rear Unit, Corner of University and Campbell) Saturday, October 5th : Full day of events Fellowship activity: 1:00 - 3:00 pm Dinner at the church : 5:00 pm (Please let us know if you are coming to the dinner) Evening service : 6:30 pm - Celebrating the 90th anniversary of Open Arms Community Church Location: Open Arms Community Church (3325 Walker Road) Sunday, October 6th at 6:00 pm Evening Gathering/Talent night: A fun night of celebrating the various talent in our churches. From singing, playing an instrument, reading something you wrote, that weird thing you can do with your thumb...Whatever it is, we would love to showcase it! Let us know ahead of time what you'd like to do and let your talent(s) shine.
